Last Day in Prague

Our last day in Prague was a COLD one!  We decided to do a bit of shopping at an open market...

It didn't last too long since our toes felt like icicles after about 30 minutes. We were on to a warm restaurant for a hot lunch and some cold Czech beer!!:)

Awesome Goulash!!!:)
After we warmed up, we were out and about again and that evening, the kids really wanted to try a Czech treat we had seen...called a Trdelnik.  Please don't ask me to pronounce it!:)

It's a sweet pastry made by being rolled on a stick...as you can see, it was a hit with the kids!!:)
What a trip and it was topped off by a great sweet treat!:)

On to Prague

January 3, we were off to Prague, but not before Elizabeth melted her giant snowball from the day before in the sink...

I could walk around Prague forever.  The architecture is so beautiful. It was a city which escaped much of the bombing during World War 2, and so much of the old architecture is still in tact.

Christmas Markets were still open.:)

That night after a long journey to Prague from Vienna, we had an early night for more sightseeing in the morning.:)
