Cannes- June 1, 2017

On Thursday, we headed off to Cannes!  Maybe this was the day I would spot Johnny Depp!:)

It was a wonderful day and the perfect end to it also!  Sipping sangria with delicious paella and enjoying our time with our friends.:)  But, no Johnny sightings..jammer!!!

Rest Day - Monday, May 29, 2017- Plan de la Tour

Monday was a day to rest and stay at the house and let the kids play and let the adults recharge.:)  It is so wonderful that we met two great families in Holland who have become very good friends to us. Their children are the same ages as Jeremy and Elizabeth and the parents have become more like family to us than friends.:)

The guys played Petanque, a french game played with gold and silver metal balls.  You can read more about this game here.  Our friend, Matthieu is French and was able to teach all of us the rules of the game..and it came in handy to have him as an interpreter.:)

And the Sangria was made that day as well to go along with the Paella we were going to have later that week.:)

And the kids played a "round the table" ping pong game.:)

I don't have pictures of us on this day, but my friends and I were sipping wine poolside to enjoy our rest day.:)  The wine really does taste better in the south of France.:)
